It's luau time at the International Boat Show! Escape to the islands at the world-famous Tiki Bar, brush up your skills at one of the many fishing clinics and seminars, or cruise the latest yachts in the marina. Check out the latest nautical gear, enjoy great food, and indulge your creative side at the art pavilion. Polynesian dancers and a paddleboard race round out this island-style festival. This is only some of the excitement you'll find as you explore this year's show.

Looking for a fun, free outdoor festival for the whole family?  Come on down to Wing and Rock!  This event brings together the delicious combination of local chicken wing restaurants and rock bands.  Check out live music from Violent Soho, Pitbull Toddlers with Cowhead, and Skytrain, to name a few.  This festival features wings from Jacksonville's top wing experts, including Buffalo Wild Wings, Wild Wing Cafe, Sharky's Wings & Grill, Sports Page Wings & Grille and many more!  Wash 'em down with cold Bud Light, and a portion of the beverage proceeds benefit the Down Syndrome Association of Jacksonville!  Be sure to mark your calendar for this great day of fun!

Celebrate Earth Day at the Jacksonville Landing with the 20th Annual Earth Day Jacksonville & Ecology Fair!  Join Radio Disney and some of your favorite earth-friendly companies for a fun-filled day! This annual event features more than 80 booths of educational and interactive displays and live entertainment throughout the day on the main stage.  A children's stage located near the Andrew Jackson Statue offers a variety of kid-friendly hands-on displays.

Break a sweat for a good cause

Support your Symphony!  The Jacksonville Symphony is hosting its first River Classic 4-Mile Run and Kid's Mile Championship! This event is a celebration of, and fundraiser for, the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra.  Kids will be chip-timed for the one mile Championship, and adults can enjoy a beautiful run through the heart of Downtown.  Relax with this family-friendly evening while experiencing the vibrancy of Downtown, and sampling some of the best that Downtown has to offer at the event expo.

Looking for away to blow off steam after work? Band together with your coworkers for the Citistreet Corporate Run!  Whether you run, walk or just stroll through the 3.1 mile Downtown course, you can help your business, corporation or government agency win! Businesses are divided into categories, so let's get some friendly competition going!

You'll move and be moved. Walk the Annual National Multiple Sclerosis Society's MS Walk. Joining the movement with hundreds of thousands of people across the country is an experience like no other. Walk together to make a powerful statement, and to keep moving toward a cure.  Each step you take is a step closer to a world without MS.

Live theatre at its finest

Who doesn't need a little Greased Lightning!  Hear your favorite songs and seGreasee your favorite characters live and in person when Greasecomes to Jacksonville! Rockin' across the country in this new production direct from Broadway, Taylor Hicks is Teen Angel. Take a trip to a simpler time of poodle skirts, drive-ins, and T-birds. "Bad boy" Danny and "the girl next door" Sandy fall in love all over again to the tune of your favorite songs: "Summer Nights," "Greased Lightnin'" and "We Go Together."

Starry Nights is well-known as one of Jacksonville's most popular outdoor events, combining the wonderful sounds of the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, the festive atmosphere of Metropolitan Park and the beautiful setting of the St. Johns River.  Idina Menzel joins the Orchestra for this performance.  Dinner from Chew or Takeaway Gourmet may also be ordered and picked up at the park.

Angela Barrow-Dunlap's new inspirational play Church Girl, starring A'ngela Winbush, Sean Blakemore, Robin Givens, Karen Clark-Sheard, Demetria McKinney and Drew Sidora.  This musical drama of innocence gone astray is brought to you by the writers of critically acclaimed plays including My Brother Marvinand Why Good Girls Like Bad Boyzcomes the highly anticipated musical Church Girl. This show is sure to be a hit!
Florida Theatre | April 17-18

Celtic Woman returns to Times-Union Center Jacksonville with an all new live show for one night only! The awe inspiring vocalists Lisa, Chloë, Lynn and Alex, along with the mesmerizing Celtic violinist Máiréad, continue to capture the hearts of fans across the country on a whirlwind tour of America.  Come see Celtic Woman with their 6 piece band and the Aontas Choir as they perform unique renditions of Irish standards, classical favorites and contemporary hits.

For the second year in a row, the Young Lawyers' Section of the Jacksonville Bar and Florida Coastal School of Law have joined forces to bring you Rendezvous on the River, a charitable event bringing together local attorneys and professionals in the spirit of camaraderie and charity. This year, Dreams Come True of Jacksonville has been selected to receive the benefit of the admission cost and River City Brewing Co. has generously pledged their support as well. Raffle prizes will be awarded throughout the evening!
