pink heals firetruckCome see the pink fire trucks on the "Pink Heals" Pink Fire Truck National Tour 2010 at their first stop in Florida promoting breast cancer awareness.  The Guardians of the Ribbon, a group of male fire fighters, police officers and community leaders, travel across the nation to raise cancer awareness and raise money to help fight breast cancer and other cancer in women.  The pink fire trucks will be stopping at The Jacksonville Landing on September 14, beginning at 11 a.m. Wear pink to show your support for women with cancer everywhere.

Crosby Stills Nash
The music of Crosby, Stills and Nash is a cornerstone of rock 'n roll.  As Crosby, Stills & Nash, this trio of legendary singer-songwriters has been actively collaborating since 1969, when they first harmonized in either Joni Mitchell's living room or Mama Cass Elliot's dining room, depending on which member you ask.  Essential elements of our pop culture experience, their songs are just as durable, conveying emotional truths and social consciousness in equal measure.  Experience them live on September 25 at the Times Union Center for the Performing Arts.

East Meets West
East/West Visually Speaking highlights eleven Contemporary Chinese artists who were selected for their references to Western stylistic history. The exhibition shows how Chinese artists have adapted Western ideas and art forms to create new styles of art. Each participating artist presents a multifaceted view of contemporary China as it defines itself, post-Cultural Revolution and its new place on the world stage. Additional works by emerging Chinese artists Eli Klein Fine Art, will be presented along side the featured exhibition, beginning September 17 at MOCA Jacksonville.
